Technologies. We had one goal in mind: to import the technologies that would provide our clients with the highest quality vehicle wash available in the market. We turned to WashTec AG and Mark VII to supply our technology. Mark VII was acquired by WashTec AG in January 2006.
Ultimately, we selected WashTec AG and Mark VII on the basis of:
"Touch Free" Automatic -- Mark VII AquaJet GT-700. The AquaJet GT-700 is Mark VII's top-of-the-line touch free system. The GT-700 simply washes better, faster, and uses less water than any of its competitors. Each wash is automatically tailored to the vehicle, from small sports cars to large SUVs. Combined operations reduce the number of passes required to deliver a quality wash -- cutting the wash time for an average sedan to less than two minutes. GT-700 standard features include choice of ColorShine® or Tri-Foam Conditioner, Clearcoat Application System, Spot Free Rinse, Undercarriage Wash, and Wheel Cleaner Applicator. Carriage House Auto Spa's GT-700 is also mated with three Mark VII's AquaDriTM 30 horse power on-board drying units that provide a contoured drying solution.
"Soft Sponge" Automatic -- WashTec AG SoftWash. SoftWash is manufactured by WashTec AG of Augsburg, Germany. WashTec is the global leader in vehicle cleaning systems. Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Volkswagen all use systems from WashTec AG at the end of their assembly lines, and their dealers around the world use their systems to wash their clients' vehicles.
WashTec SoftWash systems use a proprietary soft foam material called SofTecsTM to gently but effectively scrub away dirt without damaging even the softest European finishes. Unlike traditional friction materials, SofTecs is uniquely designed to shed dirt that can scratch paint. Contour-following, electronically controlled dryers are also integrated into the system. And SoftWash delivers this quality wash quickly - the standard SoftWash performs a basic wash in 2:30. SoftWash also uses substantially less water and chemicals than competing brands in most scenarios, so it is favored by environmentally conscientious consumers.
"HubScrub" -- Mark VII HubScrub®. HubScrub utilizes counter-rotating wheel sponges to reach and clean the deep webs and crevices of dirty wheels. While maintaining the quality and safety of a profile-driven "automatic" wash, HubScrub touches only the wheels and removes brake dust and road grime in a way that can only be achieved from contact with a soft sponge.
